Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century, completely rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries.
The association of Valloires, was born in 1922 at the initiative of Thérèse Papillon, nurse at the Red Cross, to house activities in the social and medico-social sector for children and the elderly and allowing the development of cultural and hotel activities.
The abbey is open to visitors and welcomes you for weddings, seminars or in its 20 rooms and suites.
Discover, during the tour, its classic cloister, its chapter room, its rooms with Louis XV style woodwork, and its church, flagship of Baroque art.
My castle is visitable
The abbey is a place of life for children and the elderly, which is why it only visits guided tours.
Themed visits (1h30) or educational workshops are proposed such as the creation of blazons, illuminations and calligraphy (educational animations "visits and workshops" of 1:30, please contact us for the price).
The organ is put forward in an unusual visit which allows to discover it and to follow an organ audition.
The visit can be coupled with the free visit of the gardens.
