« Château de Presque in south west of France, near Rocamadour and Gouffre de Padirac. »
This 10th century castle, rich in history, will allow you to travel through the ages
Ceded in the 13th century to the Bonafos family, the castle has undergone great improvements over 5 centuries. There is also the family crest under the keystone of the chapel. It was in 1712 that the Costa de Beaulieu family bought the castle, which they left in a state of abandonment. It was in 1936 that Robert de Solignac, a distant descendant of the Bonafos, took charge of the destiny of the place, which he set out to restore. After his untimely death, the new owner worked to resurrect the building by restoring it to its original appearance.
Acquired in 2017 by a Franco-Irish expatriate couple in the United States, the Château de Presque has become a summer residence that can be rented for a stay or an event.
