Built on the remains of a strong farm of the fourteenth century, the castle was gradually improved by the Bollioud family who acquired it in 1676.
Without notable external modifications since 1770, it is mainly under the impulse of Pierre Marie Christophe Bollioud, ancestor of the current owner, that the whole took its present pace, with in particular the creation of terraced gardens opening on the Alps panorama.
