Castle of Flers

62270, Flers

History

The castle is a vast building alternating brick and stone, flanked by two wings back to the courtyard. The central stone body, slightly projecting, is surmounted by a triangular pediment bearing the coat of arms of the families of Fresnoye and Patras de Campaigno.

The courtyard is closed by horseshoe outbuildings on either side of the lantern roof topped by a dragon vane (heraldic symbol of the Ostrel family).
