History

With its three majestic towers dominating the Valley of the West and its splendid granite lace front, the Josselin Castle offers a remarkable testimony of feudal architecture and Renaissance.

The castle today

Since its founding in 1008, the castle remains in the same family, Rohan, which still lives it today.

04/04/2015 14:00 to 18:00 10/31/2015 through the guided tour you'll discover inside the castle with its décor of the 19th century as well as beautiful paintings, furniture and family memories sets.

The French garden, designed by Achille Duchêne in 1910 is laid out with yew and trimmed boxwood. The Park allows you to stroll to a rose garden and rare species of azaleas and rhododendrons.

In the former stables, the Museum of dolls and toys presents the famous Rohan collection started by the great grandmother of the current owners.

Open: April to September from 2 pm to 6 pm for groups from 14 July to 31 August from 11: 00 to 18: 00 Weekends of October for individuals from 14: 00 to 17:30
