"The castle of Pesselières is on the land of the lordship of Pesselières in the parish of Jalognes and part universities in the Department of Cher. This earth is a strong and old Castle, in high, middle and low justice, several estangs and areas. It is ten miles from Bourges and three of Sancerre. The castle today
If the seigneury of Pesselières is mentioned for the first time at the end of the 12th century as a possession of Pierre de Livron, 'Castle and fortified House' acquires its look of Marina residence until the 17th, when the wars of Religion past. In the 18th century, the East and North facades are pierced windows that overlook the gardens. In the English park, created in the 19th century by Louis Cottin, there are still traces of the gardens in the French preexistants. The restoration of the Castle and the Park is welcomed in 2013 by a departmental Prize VMF
