« Passionate about heritage we enjoy welcoming you to Barbarin. The whole Castle is open when stay you there. »
The area consists of a fortified House built in the 14th century by François de Revel, the Castle needed of an Observatory. Confined to a round tower, the strong House evolved into a charming Castle in the 18th century, so that Laurent-Joseph Emé de Saint-Jullien, Marquis de Marcieu and Governor of the Dauphiné, can receive with dignity, when he came to visit areas of the South Dauphine and of the Viennese.
