In the heart of Burgundy, the castle of Bussy-la-Pesle, built in the Middle Ages on moats surrounding a paved courtyard, has undergone many changes over the centuries without losing any of its authenticity. He has fortunately kept his superb kitchen of the thirteenth century.
Many famous guests stayed there, including Madame de Sevigne, who wrote: "I write to you, my maid, from this Burgundy of our fathers, this Auxois green and hilly so full of natural beauties that it charms your heart and enchants you. soul, come here as soon as possible ... "
The current owners buy it in 2009 and begin major restorations to revive and animate it.
They open their doors to you now in rooms of hosts or seasonal hirings.
