The castle of Cassaigne is one of those rare houses in Gascony with a double face of which neither side can take precedence over the other.
Indeed, it is at the same time a French tourist site of prime interest and a producer of Armagnac (the brandy of the gods) with qualities often crowned.
And finally, this coexistence of two identities allows a delicate magic to operate: here too, a plus one make a little more than two; as if the sum of the two labels created this kind of supplement of soul of which one feels immediately invested as soon as one puts a foot in the court of the castle of Cassaigne.

Free visit with written materials given to visitors (available in French, English and Dutch).
It includes the following steps:
-Arrival by the inner courtyard of the castle and discovery of the facade of the eighteenth century.
-Passage in front of an old Armagnacais still with wood heating and explanations on its use.
-A 15-minute film made with Producer Plaimont screened in a fitted room.
-Entrance in the cellar of aging located in the old weapon room of the castle.
-After crossing the corridors of the castle, you reach the famous kitchen of the sixteenth with its vault in "oven ass".
-Comments and tasting of Armagnacs, liqueurs, aperitifs or Armagnac fruits in the Great Hall.
July / August: Every day from 9h to 12h and 14h to 19h
September to June: Tuesday to Saturday from 9h to 12h and 14h to 18; Sunday from 14h to 18h.
