To the fame of the castle, it will henceforth be necessary to add that of its gardens.
The large lawns as straight as the facade highlight trees of rare species, planted there between 1820 and 1860 by Paul de Vibraye; magnificent specimens that have defied time: linden trees, redwoods and a cedar alley 500 meters long and whose perspective makes it interminable, in short, a real English park worthy of the name!
Between the castle and the orangery: a superb realization, a contemporary garden which extends on more than one hectare. This one is in the precise place where a French garden existed a few centuries ago.
If the walker decides to stroll towards the common of the castle he will find a completely reorganized vegetable garden and in which the vegetables, the flowers, the fruit bushes and the vines mingle harmoniously.
The Tulip Garden: Between the pond and the lawns near the castle, 100,000 tulip bulbs were planted in a 10 meter wide ribbon. Composed of a gradient of colors, these tulips will light the west of the Castle forming the 3rd garden of the castle after the creation in 2006 of the vegetable garden and the garden of apprentices.
