Château de Kergroadez

29810, Brélès
  • Visitable

Introduction

In 1598, the Marquis de Kergroadez wanted to build a "beautiful home" on his lands of Bas-Léon.Le domain is inspired by the model of castles in the French based on the geometry of buildings and their environment which confers the domain balance and homogeneity.
Kergroadez is a compact construction, enhanced by the area's iconic material, Lanildut Granite. It mixes with subtlety the austerity of a fortified work to the majesty of a seigniorial place.
Protected from winds by its woods, Kergroadez is a jewel in a green setting.
Overwhelmed by centuries, it is now gradually restored and refurnished. All year round, for the pleasure of adults and children, visits and activities are organized.
