History

Located in the Côte d'Or department in Burgundy, the Château de Lantilly, known as "Castle with a hundred windows" was built in 1709 by Charles de Chaugy on the site of an old fortress. It is surrounded by an English park and has an exceptional view on the site of Alésia, the valley of Laumes and the surrounding countryside. The flower garden of the castle was restored by Bertrand and Claire de Virieu with landscape gardener Camille Muller in 2000 ... He won the 1st prize of heritage "Gardens" of Burgundy and obtained the label "Remarkable Garden" in 2004, renewed in 2009 Topiaries of yew and boxwood structure the different rooms of the garden: rose garden, aromatic garden, water garden, flowery meadow, vegetable boards.
