The castle of Pierreclos, whose history we know little before the 15th century, was born from the fortification of an existing ecclesial enclosure.
From the fifteenth century, it belongs to the Rougemont, who bring many embellishments so external, rebuilding parts burned, that interior, by furnishing and decorating the pieces of important tapestries.
In the early seventeenth century, the Michon became owners until after the Revolution, during which the castle is ransacked.
Since then, several families have followed one another, one of them undertaking work in 1985.
The Pidault family acquired the castle in 1989 and began a vast restoration program to revive this magnificent testimony of medieval architecture.
Pierreclos welcomes you now in bed and breakfast, for receptions or visits, and offers you its famous wines.
