Built in 1562 by Philibert de Vautravers, this castle originally had a rectangular plan, flanked by four towers and surrounded by moats. Following a major fire in 1746, it was restored. The interior of the towers, having been spared, has retained its original style, just like the ground floor which is totally vaulted. The other levels were built in the spirit of the eighteenth century, with larger openings, including the first floor. The ditches have been partially filled allowing direct access to the garden.
