The Jardin de Cuy is located in the middle of the bocage landscape of the Nièvre: pastures surrounded by meadows. This is one of those meadows that began to transform into a garden from the year 2001. It is based around a strong house whose origins date back to the 14th century. The domain was the seat of the Lords of Cuy until the Revolution. Four ponds follow one another along a gently sloping valley and frame one side of the garden.
