The castle today
Built during the 11th by the family Chasteignier de la Roche Posay, the castle of ponds will become, through inheritances, property of the Count Beaupoil de Saint Aulaire at the end of the 19th century before being sold in 1919 to Mr. Vincent : an agricultural engineer who made his fortune in Indochina.
In the 1980s, the property was purchased by the family of the current owners. It will be fully restored and become a family estate.
Between 2012 and 2013, the Castle has been renovated to allow the estate to reopen as a 5 star hotel from 2015.
