Introduction

Painter, engraver, stage designer, Louis Carzou, born Karnik Zouloumian ( [xxxxxxx] ),
is already 83 years old when he embarks on a gigantic Apocalypse that covers
the walls of the convent church of Manosque, which became the Carzou Foundation in 1991. On 666 m², its
paintings reflect fear of a future in which technology has dehumanized and ravaged
the Earth but also the obsession with war and the genocides of the past.
