of the 13th century.
John II of Tarteron born in 1687, enjoying a great fortune, had made at the beginning of the eighteenth century, very important works, under the guidance of famous Parisian architects.
The park was enriched with exotic and sometimes rare species in the mid-nineteenth century by Ernest de Tarteron with the enlightened advice of his friend Eugène Mazel, creator of the Prafrance bamboo plantation in Anduze.
