About me

« Such a gem in a green setting, nestled in the heart of the field of Eyrignac, gardens amaze the senses. On the one hand, the garden of the french with its 300 Topiary yew, boxwood, charms and Ivy, plant sculptures shaped by hand size, its carpet of grass, its fountains, its ponds and its rose garden, on the other hand, the bucolic gardens where flourishes the palette of shimmering colors of flowers and vegetables from the garden. Immutable, they surround the family mansion from the 17th century to a plant theatre where plays the spectacle of Nature in any season. Completely recomposed from 1965, the Manor of Eyrignac gardens are open to the public since 1987 and were certified "remarkable gardens" in 2004. In addition to the walk in the gardens, you can also discover the fauna and the flora for Dordogne by browsing the botanical trails of the area. Cheers to Eyrignac! »

These French Gardens, exceptional in their originality and their unusual plant architecture, were recreated in the spirit of the 18th century then inspired by Italy. Essentially composed of charms, yew, boxwood, cypresses and lawns, it is one of the most beautiful representations of topiary art in France with a unique collection of more than 300 plant sculptures.

The Manor and the gardens have been in the same family for 500 years, with the illustrious author of the tirade "Proud as Artaban" as ancestor.
Eyrignac is a place inhabited for a long time and, for that, one finds there this "little something" in addition which is the soul of the gardens and the manor. The current owner, Patrick Sermadiras, his son Gilles and his wife Capucine, keep them alive with love.

The Jardin Blanc adds poetry and lightness to all gardens. The white roses stand out on a shades of green, all associated with the water games of the five basins.

4 new poetic and colorful worlds to discover: The Vegetable Garden, the Flower Garden, The Garden of the Sources and the Flowery Meadows.

These gardens, Historical Monuments, are 13 km north-east of Sarlat.
