This house was acquired in 1929 by Edmond Michelet 1899 -1970 - future deputy of the Corrèze and Minister General de Gaulle - and his wife. During the Second World War, the building welcomed refugees and resisters engaged in the movement
Combat and in other organizations. In 1976, the house became a museum and a center of studies on the Resistance.
