Introduction

The Malouinière du Puits Sauvage is representative of the first secondary houses built by shipowners and privateers in the early eighteenth century.

Around the Malouinière are arranged, on one hectare, different buildings: barn, bakehouse, laundry room, swimming pool, garden pavilions, stables, and a large glass roof housing a collection of cacti and succulents unique in Britain. The interior of the Malouinière consists of a large living room, a library and the office of the owner.
