Introduction

Located on the edge of the medieval village of Ségur en
Corrèze, the agricultural and landscape park of Chédal has
was developed between 1860 and 1880, as shown by the Sequoadendron gigantum and Thuya plicata zebrina. After the damage caused by the 1999 storm, Marc Boisseuil had 200
oaks from all over the world.
In 2003, the park won an award from the Association des Vieilles Françaises for a garden redone after the storm.
