History

This Cluniac priory of the eleventh century, dependent on Sauxillanges, has been completely restored and opens its 17 rooms (room of the prior, rooms, infirmary, cells of the monks, kitchen, barn dimes).
It is located 2 km from exit 21 of the A75 south of Clermont-Ferrand.

It is composed of the conventual building, a defensive tower, a cloister, a tithe room and the cells of the monks. The constructions reveal a parallelogram, fortified by four towers. A monumental portal gives access to the courtyard of the priory. The 12th century church is located in the priory.
