The garden takes its inspiration in what may represent or be a garden and its environment in Flanders.
The sources were bookish but especially of our inspiration of what can at best represent a garden in Flanders (imaging of the béguinages at hundreds of spring bulbs and hawthorns in flower, the Flemish plain and its so well painted different plans by Brueghel "hunters in the snow"...)
The transcript was as much "outdoor rooms" that might enter the mind of a Flemish garden.
-On the edge of the garden, almost all of the planted species is regional themselves to spontaneous State in nature. Let's thrive species in freedom in a purpose of rediscovery of our ecosystems: thus settled carderes, bluebells, wild orchids and speedwell of meadows, c.... The planted shrub dominant is Hazel, maple, viburnum, charcoal, Hawthorn and Blackthorn.
-At the very heart of the Garden: inspiration of 3 styles of gardens to Flanders: the Flemish renaissance, traditional Garden (nineteenth, early twentieth) and contemporary garden.
